Grc 440 Newspaper Project

As part of the Design Reproduction Technology concentration in the Graphic Communication department at Cal Poy San Luis Obispo we were required to take a the GRC 440 Magazine Design course. In this class it was our primary project to create a magazine layout and design but as a secondary project we were to develop a newspaper layout.

We were given a list of names to choose from and we then had to choose a genre for our paper. The scope of this project was to establish an identity and branding as well as aquiring the copy, images, and developing the layout and design.

Another requirement was to create a half page advertisement, I chose to develop an advertisement for Boo Boo Records after choosing an "indie/alternative" theme for my overall project.
